| 1. |
Non-Sentry bots are NOT allowed in the guild channel. |
|
Due to past problems with trouble-makers
using bots to gain control of Ops (the gavel) in order to then cause havoc upon others,
all bots are banned from the channel upon entrance.
|
| 2. |
Vulgar, profane, and harassing language is not allowed in the
channel. |
|
We are a family friendly guild with the
expectation of members to conduct themselves in a manner befitting honorable Paladins of
old. Conversations within the guild channel are automatically recorded and the resulting logs can be used to prove your innocence or guilt in regards to breaking any of the guild's rules.
|
| 3. |
Rudeness towards others (member or non-member) is not acceptable. |
|
Please remember that etiquette in the
channel is important because people that are not a part of PoL often go there. Allies and
prospective members are always swayed by first impressions. Where ever you go on Battle
net, you are always a representative of our guild family.
|
| 4. |
Channel sentry bots need to be given ops (the gavel) and should
not be abused or harassed. |
|
The channel sentry bots are in the channel to keep out offenders of our guild's rules - rules that we have all agreed to when joining PoL.
The guild members running the channel bots are to remain anonymous to protect them
from harassment. The bots serve to keep us safe from vulgarities and the constant threat
that the outside channels in battle net may have.
|
| 5. |
Treat everyone with respect and kindness. |
|
By treating others as we would like to be
treated we can insure that our guild is an environment that is fun and friendly for us
all. Try greeting those who enter the channel and letting channel users know you are afk
(away from keyboard) before stepping away from the computer for awhile.
